Hi, I wanted to update members on a change to the club structure with the creation of a new role as Vice Chair.

The committee discussed this earlier in the year and decided it was a sensible move, and in line with other large clubs, to have a Vice Chair to share duties and responsibilities with the Chair and also to establish a future succession plan.

Following a process over a few months that was open to all committee members and team captains, Lucinda Richardson was co-opted into the role at our last committee meeting after a unanimous vote.

Congratulations to Luce who I’m sure will do a great job and be supported by our members.

If any members are interested in joining the committee, it is likely that there will be some vacant roles available at our next AGM in January and therefore please contact me or Luce if you are interested.
